The contract will last for 13 weeks with night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM. Candidates will not be required to take call. The unit typically has a total of 8 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 1 to 2 : 1, depending on patient acuity. The staff consists of 25 professionals, including day and night shift charge nurses. Key equipment used in the unit includes GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and ECMO circuits. The unit performs various procedures, such as central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation. Candidates must be team players, have a positive attitude, and be adaptable. Dress code requirements specify navy scrubs.
