Position Summary

Supervises multimedia staff (Photographers and Videographers) to ensure quality of photos and videos. Will upload quality photos of camp participants to Camp Cullen's photo distribution software once per day (minimum) ensuring uploads are timely and pictures of the day are uploaded the same day. Will oversee videos and video editing in preparation for video to be shared at closing ceremonies each week.

Provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on youth development including the YMCA core values : honesty, respect, responsibility, caring, and faith.

Essential Functions

• Will organize and plan efficient strategy to maximize the amount of photos taken every week, Sunday-Friday.
• Will maintain quality of photography.
• Will work with other members of the media team and administrative staff team to ensure there is always someone photographing staff and campers.
• Throughout the week, this individual will upload pictures taken each day at the end of every day. Photos must be uploaded once a day minimum.
• Pictures must be viewed before posting to ensure there is no inappropriate content in the photos.
• Will be brought in to support cabins / campers / staff when necessary.
• When co counselors are on time off, this position will step in to help supervise children if needed.
• Will organize and plan efficient strategies to maximize quality and duration of videos taken at camp of campers and staff.
• Will oversee video editing process to ensure quality, timeliness and uploading of the video at the end of the week.
• Will work with Director team to come up with multimedia projects to produce marketing materials used throughout the next year.
• All other duties assigned.

The employee regularly is exposed to bodily excretions of children, depending on developmental level of children in the employee's care. The job is working for a YMCA Resident Camp Program located at YMCA Camp Cullen in Trinity, TX.
