A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, is seeking an SUE Field Technician to join our Team in our Rockville, MD office and add significant value to our company growth. Position can also be located in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex utility records and prints
• Travel to assigned work site and perform utility designation, (identifying and marking underground facilities)
• Use electromagnetic locating equipment and follow the AMT designating process to ensure accurate and complete locates
• Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety practices and procedures established by management
• Contact Senior SUE Tech when in need of assistance
• Other duties assigned by management
