Medical Director of Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Prevention
The Division of Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full‑time non‑tenure‑eligible clinician‑educator at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The Medical Director will lead and oversee infection prevention programs at Northwestern Medicine and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prevent healthcare‑associated infections. The role includes attending the inpatient ID consult service, the ID outpatient clinic, and contributing to the division’s clinical, research, and teaching mission. Candidates should have experience in infection prevention and healthcare epidemiology, and a strong interest or experience in outcomes research, clinical epidemiology, bioinformatics, or health disparities is desirable.
