The cath lab includes two suites and averages six cases per day. Common diagnoses include coronary procedures, interventional radiology procedures, and vascular procedures. Electrophysiology procedures are not performed. The RN will sedate, monitor, and circulate cases. Scrubbing is not required for this role. The electronic medical records system used is Cerner. Cardiology coverage includes evenings and weekends, with a Stemi divert 10 days per month. There is interventional radiology call coverage 10 days per month with only one provider available. On-call responsibilities will be required from Monday to Thursday evenings and weekends. The call response time is expected to be 30 minutes. Floating may occasionally be required for one-to-one sitter assistance. Scrubs are provided, and the dress code is light blue.
