Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Genie Global Pricing Team, supporting Genie's financial objectives while maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace through current and future pricing strategic initiatives. The role is based in Bothell, WA, and reports to the Director of Global Pricing, and is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate team.

Main duties will include :

• Develop and implement pricing strategies and evaluate resource requirements
• Represent pricing during negotiations of large deals and support the negotiation of all global key account pricing agreements
• Partner with the sales and product management teams to identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
• Lead the deal desk for North America and Latin America. Review and improve prices quoted by sales by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
• Own regional price lists, price guidance, and pricing policy (including discount authority)
• Manage price realization for North America and Latin America
• Recommend pricing actions to the leadership team to improve price realization and profitability
• Provide pricing guidance to optimize the product portfolio and customer segmentations strategies
• Analyze finished goods inventory trends and partner with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns
• Train the sales team on pricing topics and pricing negotiation techniques

What you'll bring :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related). Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, sales, or pricing function. Proven successful experience with pricing techniques and price optimization. Key skills and attributes will include :

Salary : The salary range for this position is $85,000 - 95,000 USD.
