Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for creating and implementing preventive maintenance plans, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining our conveyor systems. Responsibilities

• Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting on various machinery, including Allen Bradley and Swisslog systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
• Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain OSHA 10-Hour Certification standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on industrial machinery.
• Experience working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of safety standards.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10) is required.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and conveyor systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
