Logistics Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

Schedules and coordinates flow of material within or between departments of manufacturing plants and vendors to expedite or coordinate production by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Create schedules, coordinate shipments, and manage the processing and distribution of parts
• Recording time and daily labor for employees
• Assist in project planning by working closely with the logistic director, department managers, and project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources and timeframes for projects.
• Coordinates shipments ensuring the right parts are being pulled for shipping.
• Track finished parts and maintain inventory management for projects
• Coordinate with galvanize vendors of regular & expeditors hot shot loads
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Data entry on all shipping documents for daily shipments
• Make up BOL's for the drivers on all material movement
• Dispatch drivers & material handlers on daily operation
• Take pictures for documentation
• Use M2M program on computer
• Have knowledge in international shipments
• Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site.
• Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license, must be a qualified competent driver, meet requirements of the Department of Transportation, Kelvion's Fleet Policy, and shall maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
