CDL A Fleet Driver

Ryder is hiring a CDL A regional dry van driver in Lexington, NC. Ryder regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and / or on weekends or a combination of both. A regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas. Compensation :

• Average Weekly Pay : $1,600-$1,800

Solo Miles Pay : 56CPM with 1,000-2,500 miles per week

Solo Stops Pay : $21.00 per Stop with 15 - 25 Stops per Week

$65 per night in the truck with 3 - 5 nights per Week

Bonuses

$2,500 sign on bonus : Pays you $1,250 after 30 days and $1,250 after 90 days

Unlimited driver referral bonuses

Ryder will buy your truck if youre looking to switch from Owner Operator to a Company Employee Driver

Home Time, Route & Schedule :

Home weekly duringweekend

Out up to 3-5 nights per week

Schedule : Sunday to Thursday / Friday

10am start time

Route : Eastern Coast as north as Maine as well as some midwestern states.

Freight : Touch Window & Doors;Tailgating window & doors; Slide windows & doors from inside the trailer to the back door / scan

Sleeper

Trailer Type : 53' Dry Van

24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

Must have a valid CDL A License

Minimum 21 years of age

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years experience within the last 10 years

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Must live within 30 miles of Lexington, NC
