Physician Nocturnist - Competitive Salary

Job Description

Great opportunity for a Nocturnist physician to join a well-respected healthcare facility in Northeastern CT about 1hr from Hartford.

• Board Certified Family Practice (FP) or Internal Medicine (IM) Physician
• Full-time, 12-hour shifts 7p-7a
• Alternation 15 12-hour shifts one month and 14 12-hour shifts the next month
• No block scheduling; approximately 20-21 shifts per month
• Typically see approx. 18+ patients
• It will be a mix of rounding and admissions
• Will be seeing ages 16+
• Open ICU - Hospitalists admit patients to the ICU
• No procedures are required
• Will attend to codes and rapid response to the floor but not to the ED
• The facility has Cardiology, GI, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology on Call.
