What the Role Entails

As a Technical Director at LightSpeed Studios, your role will be to define and execute the technical strategy for an ambitious new IP. Your role involves working closely with the Creative Director and core leadership team in defining and maintaining the technical vision, ensuring it aligns with the game's overall creative direction and resonates with a global audience. This role requires spearheading a global tech team, particularly focusing on collaboration with development units in China, UK, and other countries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the core team to build and manage project's technical vision and build an effective technical production strategy / roadmap to support the game's development.
• Partner with design, art and other departments to ensure efficient and effective game development.
• Set the studio's technical standards and practices, whilst ensuring stability, performance and quality in tech deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Directors to ensure the technical aspects of the game complement and enhance the narrative and gameplay.
• Build and lead a creative core tech team. Also, mentor and inspire the broader team, promoting an environment that values creativity, professional growth, and diversity.
• Supervise the implementation of technical features.
• Maintain clear communication with the development team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of technical and project goals.

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $133,020.00 to $343,600.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee's tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year.Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level. Benefits may also be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
