If you are a highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in managing both administrative tasks and financial processes with a heart for ministry and a commitment to excellence, Hillsong California team is seeking a part-time Administration & Finance Coordinator (20 hours per week) based in our Los Angeles or Orange County location. In this role, you will be instrumental in in keeping our ministry running smoothly by coordinating administrative workflows, managing financial records, and supporting our team, projects and events.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for :

Finance Administrative Support

  • Coordinate and process deposits (electronic, cash, check).
  • Reconcile, track, and report giving data by campus or activity (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Provide leadership and support to campus volunteers conducting weekly offering counts.
  • Generate giving reports and coordinate with third-party accounting support.
  • Manage invoicing and accounts payable in partnership with the external accounting firm.
  • Utilize and help administer operations, financial, and connection platforms (e.g. Square, Stripe, Planning Center, QuickBooks Online, Clearstream, Group Email Inboxes and PushPay).

California Administrative Support

  • Manage Hillsong California office including mails, utilities, supplies and email account.
  • Organize meetings including scheduling and taking minutes.
  • Prepare reports as required
  • Manage Lead Pastor's calendar and travel arrangements
  • Assist with projects and events as required
  • Ideally, a successful candidate will have :

  • At least 2 years of experience in finance administration and / or office administration, ideally with leadership experience in a ministry or nonprofit setting
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn various church system and platforms
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • A heart for ministry - passionate about serving the local church and supporting its mission
