Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our growing team in Orem, Utah. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about helping clients navigate complex tax and accounting matters. This role is hands-on and will play a key part in client relationships, team leadership, and firm growth initiatives.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and review individual (1040), business (1065, 1120S, 1120), trust (1041), and nonprofit (990) tax returns

Manage and oversee tax staff workflow, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all deliverables

Set and track weekly goals for team performance and project completion

Conduct tax planning and strategy sessions for clients throughout the year

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the firm

Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.

Assist with client relationship management and help drive new client growth

Stay up to date on federal and state tax laws

Qualifications :

2–4 years of recent experience in public accounting (tax-focused).

CPA license preferred (or in progress).

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax law.

Proficient in preparing and reviewing a wide range of returns (individual, business, nonprofit, and fiduciary).

Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
