  • Summary
  • The Collateral File Processor is responsible for receiving, organizing, and processing loan documents and files. This role involves verifying contents against provided manifests, preparing documents for scanning, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with service-level agreements. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Essential Functions
  • Receive and reconcile collateral files (security documents securing borrower obligations).
  • Prepare documents for scanning and manage post-scanning processes.
  • Verify and inventory contents against provided manifests.
  • Process returned mail and bad addresses per contract requirements.
  • Organize files, remove staples, and maintain document integrity.
  • Fold and stuff documents as needed.
  • Maintain KPI metrics for task completion and error rate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work Environment
  • Office setting with warehouse-style storage (rows of boxes and shelving).
  • High-volume document processing with repetitive tasks.
  • Combination of sitting and standing workstations.
  • Requires ability to remain stationary and maintain speed and accuracy.
  • Schedule
  • Flexible start time between
  • 7 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM
  • , end time between
  • 3 : 30 PM - 5 : 30 PM
  • (8.5-hour day including lunch).
  • Standard breaks :
  • 10 : 00 AM (15 min)
  • Lunch : 12 : 00 PM - 12 : 30 PM
  • 2 : 30 PM (15 min)
  • Training :
  • First week set schedule, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM.
  • Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel experience preferred).
  • Ability to meet KPI metrics and maintain low error rates.

    • This is a Contract position based out of Palm Harbor, FL.

    • Pay and Benefits

      • The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00 / hr.
