Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

The Chicagooffice of SmithGroupis looking for aEntry Level Mechanical Engineerto join our team.

Working with us you will :

• Perform analysis design and documentation of heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems plumbing systems laboratory and process piping and controls under direct supervision.
• Develop solutions to challenging HVAC issues with integrated architecture and engineering project design teams.
• Contribute to SmithGroup sustainable design initiatives by using a variety of software to perform energy heating and cooling load and computational fluid dynamic calculations.
• Perform production for assigned engineering work and document changes to engineering drawings as instructed.
• Assist in construction administration as directed.
• May assist in developing proposal materials.
