Core Responsibilities :

• Stay informed about U.S. federal and state privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
• Understand global privacy laws as they apply to our operations, influencing the company's compliance posture.
• Gain knowledge of the legal implications surrounding Artificial Intelligence, assessing risks related to personal data usage.
• Conduct privacy reviews on proposals and contracts, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze contracts, subcontracts, and licensing agreements to identify privacy requirements and potential risks.
• Assist in drafting privacy impact assessments and public-facing privacy statements.
• Become familiar with Maximus operations and system integrations.
• Investigate privacy incidents, documenting risks and providing legal analyses to determine breaches and recommend improvements.
• Assist in the breach notification process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle data subject requests efficiently.
• Support the development and review of documentation, templates, and privacy training materials.
• Participate in project privacy audits to ensure compliance.
• Identify innovative methods for assessing privacy risks during the proposal and contract phases.
• Collaborate with diverse teams, providing guidance on privacy-related inquiries.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package at Maximus reflects a variety of factors, including location, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and market conditions. The minimum annual salary for this position is $88,740.00, while the maximum is $120,060.00. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
