Automation Assembler

Description

This position requires the assembling of parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and / or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Leadman or Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assembling units as directed by the trainer, Lead or Supervisor with quality in mind in a specified time frame.
• Performed adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and / or engineering documentation.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to climb up ladders.
• May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
• Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices.
