Seeking Business Analyst - Standard candidates with relevant Defense, And Security Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Defense, And Security Sector Clients such as DEA. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Professional, Technical and Administrative Support Services (PTASS) (Business Analyst - Standard) in the Defense, And Security Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) | Department of Justice Located In and across the CONUS Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Business Analyst - Standard | Comprehensive Operational Support [DEA0007016]

Guides customer in preparing functional specifications and project plans to assure customer's objectives are met on time and within cost. Assists senior personnel in the development, design, and implementation of strategic planning projects. Works with customer to define system needs and translate logic diagrams into program statements. Assists in performing project management, workflow analysis, systems analysis, GAP analysis, integration, process design, user liaison, and systems deployment. Develops and maintains expertise in the scripting designs of the various platforms. Prepares test bed requirements and performs system integration testing.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Business Analyst - Standard | Comprehensive Operational Support [DEA0007016] (DEA0007016) Candidates :

Must have competent knowledge in project management methodologies. Project management certification a plus. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, in computer science preferred with 3-4 years of experience OR 5+ years of related experience (with no degree).

Skills Required

Proficiency in project management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to guide clients in developing functional specifications and project plans.

Competencies Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program). Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
