Talent Hive is in search of a Senior Controls Engineer proficient in deploying automation solutions using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Execution :
- Identify, prioritize, and schedule tasks with personal responsibility to meet commitments.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues and conflicts.
- Collaborate under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies for project execution efficiency.
- Maintain direct communication and interaction with clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
Technical Documentation and Design :
Develop project definitions, requirements, and status reports.Create process control sequences, standard procedures, and scope of supply documentation.Support hardware engineering and systems design activities.Assist with factory / site acceptance testing, user training, and acceptance testing.Program control logic, construct graphics, configure databases, etc.Interpret and update documents, drawings, and specifications related to automation projects.Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline (preferably Electrical, Chemical, Controls, or Computer Engineering).3+ years of relevant experience in process control, manufacturing, or information services.Experience with PLC, DCS, and / or SCADA / HMI design, development, and deployment.Strong leadership, client relations, and documentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; SharePoint experience is beneficial.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 25%.Strongly Preferred Skills :
Knowledge in diverse processes such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, etc.Experience with Honeywell DCS programming (Experion PKS / LX / HS a plus) and Allen Bradley ControlLogix programming (PlantPAx a plus).Familiarity with SCADA / HMI systems (ICONICS or Wonderware a plus).Experience in checkout, testing, startup, and commissioning.Physical Requirements :
Normal vision for AutoCAD and design tasks.Good hearing and manual dexterity for computer work.Ability to sit, move around, and meet deadlines effectively.
