The Microsoft Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting and deploying a wide range of cloud-based IT solutions for customers, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and SaaS applications. This role involves systems integration and Tier II / III support for services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Azure Active Directory, Intune MDM, and Azure hosting. The engineer leads cloud transformation projects, ensures optimal performance, security, and compliance, and provides training and guidance to clients. Responsibilities also include managing escalated service desk issues, maintaining documentation and IT roadmaps, and participating in an on-call rotation. Strong customer service, communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential.

Candidates should have deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, Intune, and PowerShell scripting. Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), networking fundamentals (VPNs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls), and strong troubleshooting and organizational skills are required. A valid drivers license is necessary. Applicants should have either 4+ years of experience with a relevant degree or 6+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or Microsoft 365 / Azure support. Industry certifications such as MCP, MCSE, or VCP are preferred.
