Overview

DevOps Engineering is a mission-critical function that blends software development and systems engineering to ensure the reliability scalability and security of financial platforms. Roles often fall under broader titles such as Systems Engineering or Software Engineering.

Core Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management : Design and maintain robust cloud-based infrastructure (primarily AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform AWS CDK and Ansible.
• CI / CD Automation : Evolve and optimize continuous integration and deployment frameworks using GitLab CI GitHub Actions or Jenkins to facilitate rapid reliable software delivery.
• System Reliability : Monitor troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments to ensure high availability and low latency.
• Containerization : Implement and manage container orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Security & Compliance : Ensure adherence to security standards including secrets management TLS certificates and regulatory compliance within the DevOps lifecycle.
