Major Gifts Officer

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree Demonstrated capacity in cultivating soliciting and closing major gifts to achieve goals. Demonstrated success in working as a member of a team and developing effective working relationships with staff volunteers donors and others. Demonstrated competency in writing and interpersonal communication. Confidentiality regarding donor records. Competency with relational databases Microsoft Office products electronic donor information and tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of St. Catherine University Major Gifts Officer experience Fundraising experience in higher education Demonstrated campaign experience and results Knowledge of the Twin Cities Minnesota regional or national philanthropic communities We seek creative adaptable staff who enjoy working in a university climate that promotes cultural diversity multicultural understanding and cultural fluency.
