About the Role

The Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax and wage regulations. This includes calculating wages, deductions, and garnishments, maintaining payroll records, and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process employee timesheets (electronic or manual).
  • Enter and verify payroll data in the system accurately.
  • Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and payroll taxes.
  • Prepare and process paychecks, direct deposits, and cash deposits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized payroll documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
  • Support audits, reporting, and payroll-related projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and garnishment processing.
  • Proficiency with ADP or similar payroll systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and payroll best practice
