ERP Business Systems Analyst

Southland Holdings is seeking resumes for a Business Systems Analyst with great leadership skills at our headquarters in Grapevine, TX ONSITE .

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for continuing to improve the way forward with our business systems as the company continues to grow.

This role will play a pivotal role in the migration from the current 2 ERP systems to Viewpoint Vista along with being able to enhance business processes going forward.

Duties :

• Gather business requirements, functional specifications and documentation from departments to provide business solutions and recommend system enhancements  Provide applications second-tier support for systems issue resolution  Work with implementation group to move from current Sage and JD Edwards ERPs to Viewpoint Vista.  Design, create and maintain production and ad hoc reports as the business requires.  Assist with deploying and training on new ERP modules or third party enhancements.  Work closely with Director of Information Systems on testing and documenting any new business systems solutions and recommendations.  Assist with coordination between software interfaces between internal applications and external development teams.  Responsible for documenting and change management procedures on any ERP system or third party software changes in accordance with SOX compliance.  Requirements :   Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology or a related field (and / or equivalent experience).  5+ years as a business systems analyst or similar role.  REQUIRED : Experience with Viewpoint Vista required .  Construction experience  Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures.  Advanced knowledge and experience in construction accounting.  Previous SOX experience with Segregation of Duties and Change Management documentation.  Ability to interact with employees at all levels.  Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines.  Detail oriented and highly organized.  Self-starter and strong ethical standards    Offering – Competitive Pay, Room for Advancement, Health / Dental / Vision & 401K Match and much more!  For more than 120 years, hard-working, honest, and innovative people have been building what has become Southland Holdings.
