About US
ClearGen Holdings LLC (“ClearGen”) is a sustainable infrastructure investment platform providing enabling capital for the energy transition. We take a disciplined, process-driven approach to asset-based financing, partnering with developers who are rapidly scaling pipelines in commercial and industrial solar, community solar, distributed generation, microgrids, energy efficiency, and EV charging.
Founded in 2020, ClearGen has evolved from a lean startup to a platform entering a meaningful scaling phase. Backed by CBRE Investment Management, we have the resources and expertise to expand partnerships, pursue strategic acquisitions, and continue investing in high-quality distributed assets. As our portfolio grows and transaction volume increases, we remain grounded in the principles that shaped our early success : sharp execution, thoughtful design, and a deep commitment to long-term impact.
For our team members, we strive to offer something truly distinctive : a culture built on clarity, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Our success is driven by the talent, dedication, and creativity of our people, and we work to ensure they can see and feel the impact of their contributions. As we scale, we remain a relatively flat organization where ideas move quickly, every voice matters, and meaningful work is the norm. We hold ourselves to high standards, achieve great things together, and value the exceptional people who make that possible.
Headquartered in Charlotte, we operate on a flexible hybrid schedule which entails three days in the office each week and two days working remotely.
About the Role
This newly created Commercial Contract Specialist role reports to the General Counsel and elevates the Legal function by bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to every matter. Through disciplined intake, precise document preparation, thoughtful contract progression to signature, and decision-ready materials, the role shortens timelines and raises the quality of outcomes while helping shape the tools and processes that underpin Legal operations. Working most closely with the General Counsel and interfacing with Finance and Asset Management, it aligns input, coordinates transactions, and maintains clear records that withstand investor and diligence scrutiny. The impact is tangible : greater capacity to move more opportunities forward at once, smoother paths from term sheet to close, and a confident cadence of execution that supports ClearGen’s ability to deploy capital and advance the energy transition.
