Junior Quality Engineer Technician (R&D)

Job Tasks

- Read and understand drawings and specifications to identify key quality characteristics of part design.
- Collect and analyze samples to evaluate conformance to specifications.
- Install prototype parts on development vehicles to validate fit\finish & function.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to stake holders.
- Work with other engineers and team members to identify the root cause of non-conforming materials and possible corrective actions.
- Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
- As needed, conduct quality based visits to suppliers to ensure developmental and mass production quality.
