Junior Quality Engineer Technician (R&D)

Job Tasks

• Read and understand drawings and specifications to identify key quality characteristics of part design.
• Collect and analyze samples to evaluate conformance to specifications.
• Install prototype parts on development vehicles to validate fit\finish & function.
• Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to stake holders.
• Work with other engineers and team members to identify the root cause of non-conforming materials and possible corrective actions.
• Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
• As needed, conduct quality based visits to suppliers to ensure developmental and mass production quality.
