BI Engineer
Must Have Technical / Functional Skills
- Advanced skills in SQL and database design principles
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related fields
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks
- Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases, including performance tuning and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data sets
Roles & Responsibilities
Specify, design, build, and support data warehousing and BI solutions.Design and maintain data models used for reporting and analytics.Build various data visualizations to tell the story of trends, patterns, and outliers.Monitor and tunes BI tools to ensure optimum level of performance.Provide updates to customers, business, and staff on a timely basis for projects and tasks.Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools.Support upgrades, configuration and troubleshooting for business intelligence tools.Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.Modify existing reports, extracts, dashboards, and cubes as necessary.Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations.Own the design and development of automated solutions for recurring reporting and in-depth analysis.Salary Range- $150,000-$200,000 a year
