About the Role :

As a Registered Nurse in Cardiology, you will deliver exceptional nursing care under the supervision of a healthcare provider in a dynamic clinical environment. You will utilize your nursing expertise to assess and respond to patient needs, ensuring the highest standards of care. This role reports to the Practice Manager.

• Deliver nursing care in a supportive and collaborative office setting.
• Assess the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families, developing tailored nursing care plans.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare providers regarding patient assessments and recommendations.
• Initiate actions to improve patient care and engage in cross-training opportunities.
• Collect and document comprehensive health histories while assisting with scheduling of patient visits.
• Evaluate patient records for completeness, particularly preoperative assessments, communicating outstanding issues with the provider.
• Implement independent nursing actions based on thorough assessments.
• Under provider direction, manage medication prescriptions and monitor patient responses.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress and nursing interventions.
• Handle triage calls and provide timely and professional nursing responses.
• Offer compassionate support to patients and families, upholding confidentiality and privacy.
