Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Substance Abuse Counselor with YesCare:

• Provide direct clinical services to the inmates of the Substance Abuse Treatment program as a ""Primary Counselor.""

• As the ""Primary Counselor,"" you will be responsible for completing initial assessments, group and individual counseling and discharge summaries in a timely manner.

• Conduct psycho-educational modules for all program participants.

• Evaluate inmates referred for substance abuse treatment services to determine the appropriate level of treatment and if applicable the necessary agency to provide required services.

• Document inmate evaluation or program participation in accordance with program procedures.

Key Qualifications

• State certification as a substance abuse counselor.

• Experience providing services within a correctional setting is preferred.

• A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
