Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry RN provides direct and continuous nursing care to adult patients who require cardiac monitoring due to acute or chronic conditions.
• This RN monitors telemetry rhythms, responds to cardiac changes, and collaborates with the care team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused care.
• The RN also plays a key role in patient education, health promotion, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care hospital setting, 6months or more in telemetry or progressive unit.
• New Jersey RN License.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree of science in nursing

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
