This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Call schedule includes one call shift during the week and one weekend shift every 8-9 weeks.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will work in the operating room, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment. Responsibilities include ensuring the smooth flow of procedures and turning over OR rooms to facilitate ongoing surgical cases.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing the surgical field and passing instruments during surgery.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure smooth flow of procedures.
  • Assist in turning over OR rooms between surgical cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in spinal and cranial neurosurgery.
  • Experience with da Vinci robotics and orthopedic trauma is required.
  • BLS Certification and CST Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA) are required.
