This position can be worked remotely anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clients, assisting with complex general ledgers, guiding the review and approval of account classifications, reviewing balance sheets for accuracy, coordinating project tasks, preparing and reviewing monthly reporting packages, preparing and finalizing month-end close, maintaining client procedure manuals, preparing and reviewing work papers, participating in cross-collaboration with other teams, assisting in estimating and managing work assignments, and assisting in the development of best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification preferred, 2+ years public accounting or construction industry experience, minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to project manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $74,000 - $111,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training / education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and firm performance.
