Job Description

As a Security Officer - Resort Sites  in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests and personnel.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or irregularities according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with hotel or resort staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support the overall guest experience.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any observed issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
