A company is looking for an ESXi Engineer to support a hybrid cloud infrastructure modernization project.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with client stakeholders to assess and document the current VMware environment, identifying misconfigurations and improvement opportunities
Optimize a vSphere 8 deployment on VxRail and lead patching and reboot strategies across a 6-node cluster
Support troubleshooting of vMotion issues and provide recommendations for AVS upgrade strategies
Required Qualifications
Proven experience with VMware ESXi and vSphere 7 / 8 in enterprise environments
Hands-on knowledge of Dell VxRail systems and integrated deployments
Experience with patching and rolling reboots in clustered VMware environments
Deep understanding of DR planning and hybrid cloud alignment strategies
Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience is a plus
