Part Time Medical Office Reception

NJ Steps, a warm and welcoming pediatric speech therapy office, is seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Medical Office Receptionist to join our team. We are committed to creating a positive environment for children and families, and we need a friendly, detail-oriented individual to support our daily office operations.

Responsibilities :

Greet families and children with a welcoming demeanor.

Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Respond promptly to emails and inquiries.

Maintain a tidy and organized office space, including light cleaning tasks.

Restock office and therapy supplies as needed.

Organize and file patient records accurately and efficiently.

Update and maintain patient portals with accurate information.

Support therapists and staff with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus.

Previous experience in a medical or therapy office setting preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Google Drive, and comfortable learning new software.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Friendly and patient demeanor, especially when interacting with children and families.

Schedule :

Afternoon Part-time hours, with some flexibility based on office needs.
