Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,137 per week in Charlotte, NC

Job Title : Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Oncology Clinic Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 (08 : 00 - 17 : 00) Experience : 2 years of outpatient and medical oncology experience required License : NC or Compact license required Certifications : BLS required, OCN preferred Must-Have : - Outpatient experience - Medical oncology experience - Triage experience - Epic charting experience Description : RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in a cancel and DNR. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of outpatient and medical oncology experience. The clinic will accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted with a rate difference. Average daily census is 16 patients. The shift is 8 hours per day, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, Monday to Friday. 40 hours can be offered per week. There are no call or weekend requirements. Patient diagnoses include medical oncology and hematology. Special procedures include bone marrow biopsy. Epic is the unit documentation and communication system. Candidates must provide their interview availability upon submission. Triage, outpatient, and medical oncology experience are critical skills. Exposure to oncology and / or surgical background is preferred. Chemo competency is not required. Candidates must complete all required testing within 48 hours after signing. Float requirements may apply based on skill sets and census. Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests. References from two managers or supervisors within the past 12 months are highly preferred. Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or over 60 hours in a week. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, with variations by specialty. Candidates must be available for hospital orientation.
