Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans

Design and implement occupational therapy programs to improve residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication

Educate residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies to promote independent living

Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

Requirements :

Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Illinois

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift, bend, and move residents as needed (up to 50 pounds)

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
