Description

Under supervision but following standard policies and procedures, remove, clean, and re-install air conditioning duct /terminal units throughout the hospital facilitie

• Remove, clean, and reinstall air conditioning duct /terminal units.
• Maintain service record of work performed.
• Bring to the foreman’s attention any broken diffusers or dampers during the course of a workday.
• Replace/repair ceiling tiles associated with the terminal units as needed.
• Visual inspect areas and submit all repairs through the work order system.
• Responsible for snow removal as needed.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure all work is completed within ICRA & ILSM guidelines

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school or vocational school.
• Three to five years working experience in a hospital environment.
• Must have physical ability to work on ladders.
• Must be physically able to use a respirator.
• Ability to complete routine written records.
• Hot work certification required
