Permanent Phlebotomist - Hospital Setting - Allison Park, PA
Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable hospital in Allison Park, PA , to hire a full-time Phlebotomist for a permanent position. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering accurate laboratory work, enjoys meaningful patient interaction, and wants to grow within a strong and supportive healthcare organization.
Job Description
- Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary draws for patients of all ages
- Verify patient identity and ensure precise labeling and documentation
- Prepare, process, and deliver specimens following laboratory and hospital guidelines
- Maintain an organized and sanitary phlebotomy environment
- Provide calm, professional patient support and education during blood draws
- Work closely with nurses, laboratory staff, and physicians to ensure timely workflow
- Follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance procedures
- Assist with supply stocking, equipment checks, and general lab support tasks
