Raba Kistner is seeking an experienced SWPPP Inspector, to join our Environmental team in Houston, TX. The duties of the SWPPP Inspector will be to inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental features of project plans and environmental commitments made to our customer with respect to the project construction and potentially impacted environmental features reporting observations orally and in writing to customer site contact. Some knowledge of :

General knowledge of erosion control procedures. Ability to work under exposure to inclement weather conditions, travel to project sites and maneuver over rough and uneven terrain. Ability to work independently. Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc. Ability to effectively communicate information both written and oral and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public and other employees of the organization.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant, color peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus.

May be occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Noise level for this position is loud.

This position may require protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs. Work responsibilities may require out of town travel to Raba Kistner offices, client offices and project locations.
