About Us

Fresh Breath Therapy is a growing practice committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health care to individuals, families, and couples. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can thrive and grow. We currently serve child / adolescent, families / parents and individuals struggling with various mental health disorders. We pride ourselves on being an accepting place for all people. We are looking for a part time or full time clinician to work in our Cary office and virtually

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy sessions for individuals, families or couples
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to client needs
  • Collaborate with the team as needed for referrals and consultations.
  • Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients and / or families
  • Diagnose client mental and emotional disorders
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client situation
  • Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate insurance
  • Create a non-judgmental space for all people

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice in North Carolina (LCSW (A), LMFT (A), LMCH (A), PsychD or equivalent).
  • Experience in providing individual therapy (preference towards experience with children / teens)
  • Preferred training in one of the following : EMDR, Brain Spotting, IFS, or Gottman (or willingness to be trained)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and license requirements within the field

    Job Types : Part-time, Contract

    Pay : $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

  • Proven work experience as a Mental Health Therapist or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Empathy for clients
  • Confidentiality with client information
  • Relevant training and / or certifications as a Mental Health Therapist
