Accountant III

Job description :

Accountant III position to manage all financial transactions from invoices, expenses, accounts payable to bank deposits and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions

Prepare month-end reports

Reconcile bank Statements

Bank deposits

Comply with policies and procedures

Review coded invoices before inputting into accounting software

Managing and updating spreadsheets for tracking purposes

Preparing checks and ACH payments to vendors

Prepare Excel spreadsheets

Prepare monthly invoices to the Government

Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting documents for all transactions.

Provide support for internal and external audits

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field is a plus

5+ years of experience in accounting considered without degree

Strong analytical skills

Detailed oriented with strong organization skills and self-motivated

Knowledge of Unanet accounting software is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft suite

Wide Area Workflow experience is a plus
