CT Technologist (Baltimore)

Pride Health is hiring a CT Tech to support our clients medical facility based in Baltimore, MD . This is a local contract or travel contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Summary :

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role involves operating Siemens CT scanners, following established protocols, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic information. The technologist works across multiple hospital departments including Inpatient, ED, Outpatient, Pediatric, ICU, and Oncology Outpatient.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during scans.
• Operate Siemens CT scanners, including Alpha, Force, Drive, Flash, and Definition 64 models.
• Follow established scan protocols for a variety of procedures, including cardiac imaging, neuro perfusion imaging, CTA imaging, and pediatric imaging.
• Work across multiple hospital areas : Inpatient, ED, Outpatient, Pediatric, ICU, and Oncology Outpatient.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
• Troubleshoot and report any technical or equipment issues.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in educating patients about procedures and safety precautions.
