About UC Blue Ash The Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Physics Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is one of the largest regional colleges in Ohio. Job Overview

On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member’s primary academic functions include teaching of physics lecture and / or lab. Adjunct faculty must be able to teach introductory physics, algebra and calculus-based first year physics courses and labs.

Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; and (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students

Courses offered may include day, evening, or online. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Essential Functions

• On a part-time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses and / or undergraduate labs.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
• Other related duties as assigned.
