Android Jetpack Compose Developer

Job Description :

Our team develops the embedded software deployed into vehicles to support these new perception-based navigation features, along with some of the cloud infrastructure to support them.

We have a few exciting first-of-their-kind product launches this year and are working towards these strategic targets.

Responsibilities :

Implement key components of our in-vehicle APK and cloud infrastructure.

Actively contribute to the team's effort to debug and improve performance as we approach product launch.

Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement prototypes of next-generation features.

Contribute to testing, debugging, and launch of the full product.

Experience integrating Android apps with RESTful APIs and gRPC services.

Experience with Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric) and test automation.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines for Android development (Gradle, Jenkins, Bazel).

Knowledge of secure coding practices and Android application security.

Ability to debug complex issues involving JNI and Android NDK (C / C++).

Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or vehicle communication protocols (CAN, AOSP Automotive APIs).

Experience (Required) :

Education : Bachelor in Computer Science, or equivalent.

3+ years of experience in Android app development.

Expertise building scalable components using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose.

3+ years of experience in backend development.

Kotlin, Java, and C++ programming experience.

Experience (Desired) :

Experience in the Tech or Automotive industry.

Experience with large-scale data pipelines.

Experience with ML deployment on devices.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
