Schedule : Day shift 6am start. M-F with Saturday availability during higher production times.

Salary : $19-20.00 per hour depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1.

  • Reviewing Work Orders :
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand project requirements.
  • Ensure materials and specifications match the provided instructions.

    • 2.

  • Operating Machinery :
  • Run and calibrate the Omega Up-Cut Saw to accurately cut materials according to specified dimensions.
  • Operate the Balestrini Mortise and Tenon machine to create precise joints in door components.

    • 3.

  • Assembly :
  • Glue assemble and clamp door components according to provided instructions.
  • Ensure proper alignment and fit of door parts during assembly.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.

    • 4.

  • Quality Control :
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and address any defects or issues with the assembled doors.

    • 5.

  • Maintenance and Safety :
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

    • Requirements

    What we will need you to have :

  • Previous experience operating woodworking machinery specifically the Omega Up-Cut Saw and Balestrini Mortise and Tenon machine preferred.
  • GED or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and components.
  • Stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work.

    • Work Environment :

  • The work environment may include exposure to dust noise and machinery.
  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required.
