Richard and Suzanne Funk started Desert Oak Barbecue the summer of 2015. What started off as a hobby and a small idea has turned into a full-time commitment and dream come true. Through it all, their family has been a source of patience, love and support. The Funks are now doing what they love – dedicating their time to cooking barbecue and sharing it with the people of West Texas.

Desert Oak Barbecue is hiring immediately for Front of House Team Members, as a server, to join their team in El Paso, TX!

At Desert Oak Barbecue, you will be working for a family-owned and operated business not a corporate chain! We treat you like family and hope that you feel like you have a second home here. Our Front of House Team Members are usually our customer's first and last impression of our restaurant. While our Pit Crew and Kitchen Team make sure everything is running smoothly in the Back of House, our Servers ensure that our guests get their food timely and provide guests with a wonderful experience at our restaurant. You may be taking customer's orders, working the register, serving on the line, bussing the tables and making sure the front of house is clean and the customers are happy.

Front of House Team Member Job Responsibilities :

• Provide excellent customer service
• Take customer orders
• Serve and assemble customer orders
• Process transactions on the register
• Clean / buss tables
• Other duties as assigned to you
