We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent patient care while performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Location : Los
Angeles, CA
Schedule : Night Shift (12 : 00 PM – 8 : 30 AM)
Compensation : $40.00 per hour
Availability : Must be available on weekends and holidays
Experience Required : Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Job Summary : The Radiologic
Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the
diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury. The ideal candidate demonstrates
technical expertise, patient-centered care, and adherence to safety standards while
operating radiographic equipment
What You'll Do : Perform
high-quality radiologic examinations in accordance with physician orders
and departmental protocols.
Position
patients properly to ensure accurate imaging results and minimize
radiation exposure.
Operate
and maintain radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
Review
and assess images for diagnostic quality prior to submission to
radiologists.
Maintain
accurate patient and imaging records in compliance with hospital policies
and HIPAA standards.
Collaborate
with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
coordinated patient care.
Follow
infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times.
Participate
in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays as required.
Qualifications : Completion
of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT
(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. Must be willing to provide a picture / scanned copy upon submission.
Valid
California Radiologic Technologist license. Must be willing to provide a picture / scanned copy upon submission.
Current
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Must be willing to provide a picture / scanned copy upon submission.
Minimum
1 year of relevant radiology experience, preferably in a hospital or acute
care setting.
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient care.
Physical Requirements :
Ability
to lift, position, and move patients and equipment.
Prolonged
periods of standing and walking.
Must
be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
