Behavioral Health Technician (Fee-for-Service)

Location: West Philadelphia & Southwest Philadelphia
Pay Range: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on education, certification, and experience)

• Collect behavioral data, record session notes, and communicate updates with your supervisor.

• Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development to strengthen your role as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT).

You can qualify for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position through one of the following:

• High school diploma or GED plus completion of a 40-hour online training (provided by Dunbar) and 2 years of experience with children or in behavioral health.

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits and 1 year of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field.

• RN, RBT, BCAT, or equivalent certification.

Certification Requirement: Must earn RBT, BCAT, or equivalent within 18 months (Dunbar provides training and supervision).
Clearances: PA child abuse, criminal, and FBI checks; CPR/First Aid certification.
