Location : Springfield, MO
Pay : Based $64k - $99k
Day Shift
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our DFE Product Development team. This role focuses on designing, testing, and improving our product lines, including refrigeration equipment and heat exchangers. You’ll collaborate with multiple departments and help bring new products into manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test mechanical products and systems
- Perform structural and thermal performance calculations
- Collect and interpret data from testing
- Identify and resolve mechanical engineering issues
- Provide technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, QA, and Service teams
- Help introduce new products into manufacturing, including training and documentation
- Maintain safety standards and conduct safety meetings
- Communicate with vendors as needed
- Travel up to 10% (including international) for product service and startup
- Perform other duties as assigned
